PPC i.e. Pay Per Click Marketing (PPC) is a digital marketing approach in which the advertiser must pay for each click that leads to his website or landing page.
PPC is a paid marketing approach in which advertisers place ads on search engines or social media and pay the search engine or social media when a user clicks on their ad. The more people who click on the advertiser’s ad, the more money he has to pay.
If you drive traffic to your website by running adverts on Google, you must pay Google every time a user clicks on your advertisement and visits your website. PPC marketing allows you to achieve your marketing goals in a relatively short period of time.
Types of PPC Marketing
There are mainly 6 types of PC marketing, about which we have told you in detail here –
#1 – Search Ad
Search Ads can only be displayed in search engines such as Google or Bing. Search advertising are conducted on a specific term, and when a person searches for that keyword, Ad results appear before organic results. Ad appears before the URL of Search Ads (see figure below).
#2 – Display Ad
Display ads can be found on almost any blog or website. These are all display ads, as you can see from the advertisements that are currently running on my blog and tell about a company’s product.
Display adverts are usually shown based on the user’s interests, which means he will see advertisements relevant to the items he searches for the most throughout the day. Display Ads are quite effective for company advertising.
#3 – Native Ad
You’ve probably seen adverts in the shape of articles in some form below the article (see image below), which is known as a native ad. The advertiser produces his ad in the form of an article in Native Ad. Most bloggers use Native Ads to drive traffic to their sites. Native Ads can be run on platforms such as Google, Tabola, and Mgid.
#4 – Video Ads
Video advertising, as the name implies, take the form of videos. You’ve probably seen video commercials on most social media platforms, such as Facebook and YouTube, in which a person or company educates others about their product. Google adverts can be used to run video adverts on YouTube.
#5 – Social Media Ads
Social media is the finest approach to promote your product and service. No matter which social media platform you use, you will see adverts from various firms, which are known as social media ads. All social media platforms allow businesses to run ads to reach specific audiences.
#6 – Remarketing
You’ve probably seen that if you go to Amazon’s website and look at any one product, you’ll notice Amazon’s adverts all over the place; this is Remarketing.
You can add a Facebook Pixel or a Google tag to your landing page, and then create a Custom Audience to show your Ad just to those who have seen your landing page. Remarketing is very powerful.
